Jacobs Engineering Group (JEC) reported fourth quarter EPS of $0.98 Tuesday morning, up from $0.77 in the prior year period.

Jacobs Engineering Group gapped up at the open Tuesday and rose steadily during the first hour of trade, before settling into a range. Shares finished with a gain of 5.52 at $64.86 on above average volume. The stock broke out past resistance and set a new high for the year.
